Hawken Release Date Announced
The Adhesive studios announced that they opened the closed-beta registration for the Hawken FPS.
They also revealed the release date for the game which has been in development for some time. Hawken will be released on december 12. It is being developed using Unreal Engine 3 (pretty many games being developed using this engine lately huh?) and will be free-to-play.
Sanctum 2 is now in development
Some info leaked that Coffee Stain is working on the tower defence/fps Sanctum 2 and that this is going to be released next year.
The first one was only available on PC and it sold over 300.000 copies over Steam.
What EA really needs to fix at FIFA
EA introduced a lot of new features over the years one of the coolest ones (but very buggy) is Player Impact Engine.
The PIE is a pretty good ideea and if is going to be improved it should be a great thing for the FIFA series but one of the things that was always a minus for the FIFA games was the supporters. They keep having the same cartoon look and EA tried over the years some little tricks like turning the light off a little bit or displaying some real faces when a player celebrates.
But the truth is that it is pretty hard to display around 50.000 real faces in a stadium and that should require some great computers. Anyway we hope EA will manage to solve this somehow expecially that they are introducing new features in every new game (check this article to see about EA introducing a new technology in FIFA 13!).
Microsoft Flight Release Date Announced
Microsoft released a newspress in which they are informing us about the release date for Microsoft Flight. The game will be released on feb 29 and in the same day they will release a DLC called Hawaiian Adventure Pack which will include a few new islands, a new plane and 20 missions.
This is somehow weird that Microsoft is not going to wait a while to see how the sales are going on and then release the DLC. Well it's a bonus for the players! This game looks so real and i'm wondering how many guys are going to train on this game for the real deal?
The new Medal of Honor to be announced on march 6
This is what we expected. After Medal of Honor sold over 5 million copies the Danger Close studios leaked some information that they are working on the next Medal of Honor game.
Now Electronic Arts are going to announce the next Medal of Honor on march 6, 2012 at Game Development Conference that will take place between 5-9 march at San Francisco!
The upcoming Medal of Honor game will likely be released at the end of this year.
